A Post, Post-fire chat…

It is rough when an era comes to an end. Your day, which revolved around revenge, plot lines, justice, and keeping a boat load of characters straight, no longer has any excitement. The computer told you that you can’t move on with your voyage until next week even though you are ready to venture into a new kind of excitement, and walk in the shoes of another Minnesotan to a house in Long Island.
The moral of my story, albeit very dramatic, is that I’m sad to be finally finished with The Count of Monte Cristo, but super pumped for The Great Gatsby. I hope Gatsby treats us as well as The Count…or at least has a better ending!

A Conversation with our President.

Location: Wild Onion on Grand Ave, St. Paul
Occassion: Happy hour to celebrate our friend Art after his last day working at Wilder with us

Wilder's President to Laura: Well, hello. I didn't recognize you without your computer costume on. Where is your mouse?

A few quick, fleeting moments pass...

Wilder's President to Christine as she approaches the bar: (glance of familiarity, but not convinced he knows where to place her in his memory) OOOOOOOOOOh, I didn't recognize you without your mouse costume on!

Moral of the story is...there is a direct correlation between climbing the corporate ladder and wearing your Halloween costume yearround.

Clink. Clink. Cheers.

DYNAMITE! DYNAMITE!

Goodbye, Art. We miss you around the office.

www.kopplinscoffee.com We frequented Kopplin's with our IT guy, Art. If you have not been, you should go. Because a cup of coffee made with the clover machine is the best cup of coffee you will ever have in your whole life. Or at least a cup of coffee worth checking out. And ask about the clover machine. Thanks for introducing us to the wonderous cup.

...CAN YOU DIG IT!?!

This is our first entry made from JSV; near a fireplace and as far away from 'real' workspace as possible.
